The Architect of Second Chances
Marina Anise is the structural force behind Anise Criminal Defense. As Managing Partner, she seamlessly balances the complex demands of firm management and regulatory compliance with a fierce dedication to client rehabilitation. Leading the firm’s Seal and Expungement Division, Marina focuses on what comes after a criminal accusation—ensuring that a past mistake does not dictate a client's future.
Forged in Advocacy
Marina’s commitment to protecting the vulnerable began long before she became an attorney. While earning her Juris Doctor at Nova Southeastern University, she served as an executive board member for the International Law Students Association (ILSA) and dedicated her time to the juvenile advocacy program in West Palm Beach. Working directly with at-risk children in the state system taught her early on that the legal system requires more than just sharp legal acumen—it requires profound empathy and relentless dedication.
A Philosophy of "Future Preservation"
While Anthony Anise focuses on mitigating immediate risk in the courtroom, Marina focuses on the long-term reality. A dismissal is only the first step; true justice is getting your clean slate back. Since joining Anise Criminal Defense in 2019, she has founded and built up the Seal and Expungement Division into a powerhouse, helping countless individuals wipe their records clean so they can confidently pursue jobs, housing, and higher education without the shadow of a criminal record.
